discussion of the idea of a survey regarding IPv6
 - should Internet2 host a page to post a paragraph about each network's IPv6 transit policy?
 - should we send a survey via the RENOG mailing list? if we do, will this reach the correct people?
 - should the community determine a way to differentiate between commercial and R&E IPv6 routes?
 - regarding creating a standard - it sounds like it will be impossible to find a community-wide way to tag IPv6 routes

the idea is to socialize these ideas with ALL the R&E networks
 - a survey is a good way to socialize ideas
 - how do we reach the right people?

specific questions to ask
 - do you separate commercial and R&E routes?
 - do you pass routes to your peers?
 - do you have tags that identify community routes?
 - if not, would you?

Action: Internet2 will put together a list of NOC people to send the survey to

Badr Hubais of ANKABUT was particularly concerned that another network might send ANKABUT commercial routes; they are specifically forbidden from passing any commercial traffic in the UAE
